We don't collect personal data. We don't require accounts. We don't sell anything. Most tools run entirely in your browser — your data never reaches our servers. We use basic analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate.
The vast majority of our tools operate entirely client-side — all processing happens in JavaScript in your browser. Tools that perform DNS lookups use Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS API (cloudflare-dns.com) directly from your browser. We do not proxy or log these requests.
Tools that require server-side processing (such as SSL certificate checks or HTTP header audits) send only the domain name you enter to our server to perform the check. These requests are not logged or associated with your identity.
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. If analytics are used, they operate without cookies via anonymous fingerprinting techniques or server-side aggregation only.
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond. Anonymous analytics data may be retained in aggregate form indefinitely. No personal data is retained beyond what is needed to respond to your inquiry.
Since we store no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you submitted a contact form message and want it removed, email us at hello@hostitworks.com and we will delete it promptly.
Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
